A student left a question blank on a quiz. The question was multiple choice. *facepalm*
Procrastinated as long as I could. Am now starting to grade finals.

AFAIK, this iTunes issue is new with v8.1, but might be as old as v8.x. Has anyone else seen something like this?
iTunes problem: Many of my AAC music files ripped from CDs won’t play from shared iTunes library, but play fine when imported directly.Help?
Also I tried sharing the AAC files both ways (laptop > desktop, desktop > laptop). Neither worked. Import locally on either plays fine

Just found out yesterday - the school now has 2 Manfrotto pano tripod heads. What’s left on my personal wish list? Lens baby, tilt/shift…
That’s now 2 “major” purchases that I almost made during my sabbatical that the school now (post-sabbatical) placed - Letus35 and pano-head.

The school’s Letus 35mm adapter just arrived this week. I was there until 2am slapping tons of Nikon lenses on it. Need free time for tests!
I’m considering setting up wikis for my classes. Any recommended hosts? Looking at pbwiki. Any other advice (including “Don’t do it!”)?

Yesterday: ~50 degrees and rainy. Today: 16 and sunny. Illinois weather = ill-annoy-ing.
Thanks for the responses. Seems most peoples’ opinions are close to my policy: 3 absences = penalty, 4 = fail. We’re on 11 week quarters btw
per quarter/trimester/semester/whatever, that is… And this is an average art/studio class, not one you hated.
Curious: When/if you were in college, how many days per quarter did you deem acceptable to miss, specifically for an art/studio class?

Home networking Good News: USB Drobo hooked to Apple AEBS as AirDisk streams 1080p files nicely to PS3 over gigabit. But then, it better.
BTW if anyone wants to know how to kill an otherwise enjoyable weekend, I humbly recommend running ethernet cable thru a 100 year old house.
At home with a sick 2 year old, exploring all extras on WALL•E Blu-ray. Suppose he’s too young yet for a Fincher film… :/
