My grandfather could spot an arrowhead from the seat of a tractor, a four-leaf clover from across a river bank, and a nap from 10 miles away (also every weed I missed while walking beans). He patiently took me fishing several times that I can remember, and probably many more that I cannot. He took me golfing at sunrise, once and only once. I assume he learned his lesson. I was only about 10 years...
